I had a set of c5 z06 wheels and they are getting alittle rough these days, how would you strip the chrome off them? Theres a local company that can powder coat them in black chrome and they do really good.. Just a idea I had..

 

thats a major pain and it's expensive. all things considered it would be cheaper to get another set to powder coat unfortunately unless you can work a deal with someone to strip.

just search chrome stripping and you'll find your info. hopefully your wheels are from a company that used cheap chrome and it won't be so bad.
