Street and Strip
Street and Strip
Time for new tires. Looking for a good street tire, that will be good at the track as well. Car doesnt see rain or snow, so I am not too concerned about wet tractions...although, I dont want something horrible, just-in-case. Any suggestions?
Re: Street and Strip
The comparitive survey data at Tire Rack supports that recommendation.... top-rated on dry traction and still among the best in wet traction.
Its worth looking at the survey data on Tire Rack, if you haven't done so already. Recognizing that it is simply feedback from average people, it has its limits, but its a good screening device to identify the top contenders.

I'm on my second (about to be third) set and they're great.
- they never lose pressure
- they're great in the rain
- I can cut 2.0s easily
- they're reasonably-priced
- they've never punctured
- they'll last 25k (street & strip) with proper rotation
