Sportsman Pro good or bad in rain?????

Sportsman Pro good or bad in rain?????

I was looking to put some mickey thompson Sportsman Pro tires on my camaro. They recommend tubes. Are they good in the rain also can you use them on the freeway once in a while??? - MIKE

This may be too late, but as long as they have at least a fair amount of tread, they aren't too bad in the rain. I've taken them on short 5 min. freeway trips a lot with no problems. They don't last very long. About 6k miles till the cords show. I have cut a best of 1.67 60' with 26/10.5/15, but I just got a set of 26/12.5's mounted and some heads soon.

I use them as my street tires and they arent bad at all in the rain if you take it easy.I also didnt bother with the tubes and they are fine.
