Opinions on used of BFG KDW drag radials

I can get a set of used bfg kdw drags 315/35/17 with 5 runs and 100 street miles for $275 shipped. The guy selling says theres about 3/32nds of tread left. Is that consistent with 5runs and 100mi? I know their drag radials and have a small amount of tread. Just making sure I'm ok to buy these. Otherwise I can get 2 nitto's for 350 shipped brand new.

That means about 1/2 the tread is gone. You can get a new pair at Tire Rack for $350. I never run mine at the track, but I'd estimate about 2000 street miles and no appreciable wear at all.

I'll move this to the "Wheels and Tires" forum.

Maybe I'm confused but I think KDW's are wet weather tires.

I think your right, the g-force series are the drag soft compound, the KDWs are the high performance street tires.

Yeah your prolly right I know their BFG drag radial could be wrong on the other letters. I did buy them got em for 155 shipped. So with 3/32 tread left I can prolly drive two years on em since I don't drive drive my car very often. Thanks for all your input guys.
