OEM C5 wheels on a 98 camaro

hi i just bought a set of OEM corvette wheels from a 2001 vette my buddy at work used to have. fronts are 17 x 9.5 and rear are 18 x 9.5 will these work on my 98 camaro or will i need spacers? he sold me them with tires for 300 bucks as a favor. the tires are brand new and were very expensive. the are goodyear eagle f1 p275/45 or 40 i cant remember off the top of my head. they are z rated and he said they were pretty expensive. i have a v6 camaro so i dont really care about needing tires to drive fast i just really like the looks of the wheels and for 300 bucks its hard to beat and he only put like 8 or 10 thousand miles on them and then he bought chrome wheels for it. they have been in his garage for almost 2 years. i havent had a chance to put them on my car yet, i just bought them today. i mean i know a lot of people put oem vette wheels on their camaros and i was wondering if i needed spacers too. i tried to search on here but it only brought up c6 wheels and it said those definitely needed 1.25" spacers and then another guy said his 18 x 9.5 did not rub and he didn't need spacers. sorry for the wall of text but i appreciate the feedback
