You are looking at two tires with significantly different outside diameters.... the 275/60-15 is 27-3/4" diameter.... that's 2" larger than the 245/50-16 and will cost you about 8% in rear wheel torque, unless you swap in higher numerical gears. A 275/50-15 would be a better choice, since its roughly the same diameter as the stock tire.
Traction-wise, I would think the 275 with its nearly 1" wider tread, and 1/2" taller sidewall would provide the best results.
