Need some Tires for Stock Rims

Dont exactly want to buy a set of rims and tires as i dont have a grand, but i need some rear tires BAADLY....what is a good tire for traction and daily driving on a bolton lt1? I dont typically drive the car int he rain, but i dont want to have to be scared crapless driving in the rain because of my tires....I have a the stock 16" rims. Any input is helpful, thanks!

Go to Tire Rack, put in the size you want (either 245/50-16 or 255/50-16) and see what is available. Once you get a list of tires for the size you want, you will find a link that compares many of the tires in the list for dry traction, wet traction, cornering, noise, tread wear, etc. The ratings are based on owner feedback, so they aren't rigorous tests doen by pro's, but it will give you a general idea of what each tire's strenghts and weaknesses are.
