Need some info on 18" Z06 wheels please.

I'm considering giving up my 16" wheel/MT ET streets combo for a set of 18" chrome Z06's all around.

As much as I LOVE the looks and traction of a drag wheel/ Slick combo, the constant harrasment by the cops, the horrible wet wheather handeling and excessive tire wear I've experienced over the past 5 years have definetely taken their toll on my patience.

I just wanted to know if any of you could answer a few questions about the Z06 wheels.

1. Where's the best price for a set of 2 - 18x9.5 front / 2 -18x10.5 chrome Z06's

2. Anybody know how much they weigh??

3. Anybody have any pic's of a RED LT1 (preferably) or LS1 FORMULA (no groundFX) with ZO6's ??

4. Anybody good with photo shop? If no one has any pics of a red formula with z06's I could send you an email with pic's of my car and you could edit them with the zo6's

Any help would be greately appreciated. Thanks.

To see what the rims would look like, just search this section, that's what I did. I found a camaro with Z06 rims on it.

I found my rims on ebay, I paid 460.00 for the set 17x9.5 front 18x10.5 rear, PAINTED, not polished or chromed. (I'm told im stupid, but I dont like the way bling looks my car, I prefer the painted rims)
As for weight, they weigh less than stock, and you will need to have the hole in the center of the rim bored slightly, as they won't fit. It makes more sense to have a machine shop bore the hole in the rim than bang the hell out whell to make it fit, or use a file or dremel on the hub.

o.e concepts makes the best knockoff version of oem vette wheels. their 65+mm 18x9.5 for your fronts and 58mm i believe 18x10.5 for the rear will fit perfectly and look good. they are on the more price side though and will probably run you upwards of $1,100 for the set. well worth it for the quality though as their build tolerance is of the lowest out there.

good luck.

I put a set of AFS 18X9.5 Z06's on mine this weekend.

They weigh 51 lbs. with a Kumho 712 275/35/18 tire.
My stock salad shooters with a Goodyear Eagle GT HP 245/50/16 tire weighed 44 lbs.

Mine are chrome, by the way. It may make a slight difference in the weight.
