I am getting a set of 17" 5 spoke chrome WS6 wheels 17x9.5. What is the widest tire I can get on here without rubbing? I have a 93 LT1 Z28 with the salad shooter 16's on it. I love the looks of fat tires on it but dont want to message the fenders or anything like that.

 

You can safely go 275/40R17 all the way around.

 

Thats what I went with then I added 315/35s on the rear

 

can you safely run 315s on an 10 spoke SS rim? I think its 9.5 or 9.5..[?]

Just checking I have seen alot of talk about 315's all of the way around the car. Besides the fact that some dont like the looks and there is a half inch to narrow a rim will they rub on the car etc. I am mainly considering the back of the car but maybe all 4 corners
