My wheels are stuck ?

My wheels are stuck ?

My back wheels are stuck. By this i mean I take the lugnuts out .. And it still is mounted on there. Almost like i could drive away with out a worry.? Any idea? What do I do ?

The inner part of the wheel is stuck on the hub. A number of wheels have a smaller diameter than the wheel hub. They will come off with some persuasion, I was able to get mine off by laying on my back and "kicking" one side of the wheel, a nice rubber or plastic mallet would be a more "elegant" solution. BTW nothing wrong with relieving the inner diameter of the wheel hub "hole" with a grinder as the wheels are centered on the hub with lug nuts, not by the hub itself.

Do not post the same problem on multiple forums. You also had this on "General F-Body Tech & Info"..... is did not belong there. I moved it here, only to find you already posted it here, and already got the answer here. That is assuming you have a 4th Gen with late model wheels.

In effect, you wasted my time spent in posting a similar response in the other thread, and then wasted some more time by moving the thread.

PLEASE post the question on the correct forum, and post it only ONCE.
