My first aluminum wheel experience. (pics.)

http://www.heavymetalpolish.com/Products/Polishes/

I ordered the green Medium Abrasive "Best Seller" one. (The Cotton Treated). I hope it will clear and polish the wheels. Is there any other product that will work??? I'm from different country so I will order more than one.

The wheels after 2 and half months. (Never polished)

Never put abrasive or acid based cleaning products on wheels! They eat the clear coat finish from my experience, it's soooo bad for you! It looks like it's already happened, actually, either that or those wheels are super dirty.

Was the original finish on the wheel "high luster" or "brushed satin"? Were the wheels clear coated? I don't think most of the Boze/ZE Forged wheels are clear coated.

I'm not familiar with that particular brand, but we've had customers come through with wheels LIKE that.. those things look ruined.

The original finish is "high luster". They told me that wheels need to be polished every 4-6 months.

I didn't use acid based or some other product..

Get yourself a yellow Mothers mini power ball and Mothers power metal for ALUMINUN wheels and figure on spending about 1.5-2 hours per wheel follow up with the red power ball the large one and a product from Megiures a pink paste cleanser in a jar,Also for washing your wheels use Eagle one aluminim wash it comes in a grey spray bottle.I had my polished aluninum Torq thrust II wheels acid etched by a local hand car wash place and I was able to bring mine back to life and they looked worse than yours . Good Luck

Yeah, I was going to say, someone in the Black or Polished thread a few spaces down recommended some good polishing stuff, he said it should only take around 4 hours to do. Good luck, indeed, I hope you can get those off.

Since I read your post, I'm searching the parts that you suggested. I couldn't find any link for Mothers product. Have you got any link ?

I use the Mothers Billet polish on all my aluminum, including my Weld racing wheels, and it produces a mirror-like finish, that lasts months. However the wheels are seldom exposed to the elements.

He's saying his car doesn't spend a whole lot of time outside on the streets getting rained on, etc.

As I'm from different country I want to order at once. I there any kit that will work for me? I can't get whenever I want so sometimes money is really not a problem. I paid $$$ for wheels a couple of months ago, and look at them now I will do what ever it takes.
