Mismatching tires?

I have some new rims on my car that I got of ebay, and they came with some Kumho ecsta 711 tires on them. The size is 245/45/17R in the front and 255/45/17R in the back. The back 2 tires are shot and have had chunks taken out of them. I was hoping to keep the same tires all around, but go a little wider in the back, like a 275 or a 285. I was wondering if there's any tire that I can match with the 711 that has a similiar tread design and the same specs, but is simply wider, since the biggest I can get on this tire is 255. Or is that not a smart idea?

Also, I was wondering what the widest tires I can fit under a 3rd. gen camaro would be?

Thanks.

This is the 712 get in 275 and run the 245 on the front you should be fine dude. I used to run 245 and 255 like you had with the same tire.
