can you mount these on our rears without modifying anything? is a 26" tall tire too big???? no idea what normal tires are...

im putting a strange 12 bolt with 4.10s in soon and these look nice for zr1 17x11 wheels... for the tack...

If you look at the M/T website, it shows the actual diameter of those tires as 25.7".... same as the tires that came on your car, if your car came stock with the optional 245/50-16's (25.65"). They are actually slightly smaller in diameter if your car came with the "base" 235/55-16's (26.1"). The 26x11.5-17 is simply telling you what ET Street DOT tire the size is "equivalent" to. Doesn't mean the tire is 26.0" diameter.

I ran 28.0" QTP slicks with no problems, at least until trap speeds went over 125mph and growth became a problem.
