M/T E/T Streets or Street Radials?

I have an extra set of STOCK wheels. The E/T Street Radials have a 255 tire, while I'm not sure on the sizes of the E/T Streets, which would be the better choice for STRIP ONLY. What else would people recommend? I can't get pure slicks because I would have to drive the car home.

It said the size equivalent is 26"x10.5R16 for the E/T Street Radial so would the:

26X10.50-16LT for the E/T Streets work? What does the LT mean?

Could I expect maybe a 13.19 or mid 13.2's with these tires? That would be about between a .250-.300 change. Is that normal to expect?

Hey, I posted on your EFA post earlier...I have the ET Radials in the 255 50 R16s on 16x8s and went 11.90s @ 115 in 90 deg heat and 76% humidity a few Fridays ago at Capitol Raceway with 1.6's to 60'...These will work for you and you'll enjoy the drive to and from the track as well...I should run 11.50-11.70s in good air. BTW those 60's were achieved with 16x8 fronts and both sway bars in place...No sway bar and skinnies would be better, but I'm going the "sleeper" route....

Heh I noticed that. I saw how you posted about if I was sold on the E/T Streets. I made this thread to see what people thought was better before you asked me that

Cool, got your PM, sent one back...I was solidly in the 1.6s with one 1.7 at Capitol. I've always used the BFG DRs before in the 17s, but tried the M/Ts in the 16s for more sidewall and they really work well. I did think of one drawback...The weight. They do weigh more than ET Streets...but I still like em...

ps..I like your car..looks just like mine except I have a Harwood ram air hood...
