M/T drag radials or BFG drag radials?

I am getting a new set of drag radials and I want everyone opinion on what to get. I was running BFG's but had contemplated a switch to M/T's. I can get both at a decent price, but the M/T's will be about $50 a set more than the BFG's. Keep in mind the power level that I am at (mods in sig.) which do you think would be the better choice or do you think they would be simular? Also what short times do you guys run with your drag radials and what brand are they?

I dont see 12 bolt or 9 inch listed in your sig. Ive heard youre really pushing the limits of the 10 bolt rearend with those M/T drags.

The M/T's are ALMOST as good as et streets, so like said above i'd be a little cautious with them on a stock 10 bolt rear end. So yes the M/T's have been getting us some better times/traction but like i said depends on the rear your running. The final choice is up to you though.

The M/T Radials have broken everything from 12-bolts to driveshafts and even transmissions.

I run them and traction is AWESOME. They rock on the street too. I have a moser 12-bolt and CPT Race prep'd trans. My driveshaft is stock steel but I am upgrading to a spohn one too.

I was cutting consistant 1.75 60fts at the track with them on stock suspension and 18 psi of tire pressure.

So, the M/T's are that much better than the BFG's?

The MT's are badass, my friend has them on his Stang. They hook like a *****! Seem to hook quite a bit better than my nittos. So as soon as I get a rear, Nittos are gonna be the street tires, and gettin a set of the MT's for the track.

Has anyone used both M/T's and BFG's so I can get a first hand account on which they liked better? Is anyone cutting good 60' times with BFG's?

If you're reffering to the MT ET Street Radials, put it this way... I'm switching from Nitto Drags to MT ET Streets. A couple of my friends have them on their cars, and they hook bada**. One of them has an AT 98 Z28 with 3.73's that runs low to mid 12 on a stock rear end. He shreds the BFG's, even when thy're nice and warm. He hooks way better on the MT's. Another friend has the MT on his AT 02 WS6. He had the BFG's and used to shred them as well. He now has the MT's and ran an 11.5 on them with a 1.6 short time, with a stock rear end and 3.73's. To sum it up, the MT's are a way better drag radial. You'll be amazed how soft they are, compared to Nitto's and BFG's.

I'm using the BFG's and I have to say that I'm not all that impressed with them even though I am cutting 1.75's with them. The ET Streets are pretty good from what I've seen and they will probably be my next tire.
