LT1 Tires

Whats are the widest rims the LT1 can use without any problems occuring? Prefferably 17" 5 star spoke rims... Similar to the LS1 WS6 rims...

widest wheel or widest tire?

you can fit 11" wheels if you clear the wheel well...I believe 10" wheels fit with no problems...

I would guess rims then? A wide wheel base for some nice traction... :-)

You need to specify "wheel" size in diameter, width and offset. In general, people limit the front to 9.5" wide (40-56mm offset range), and the back to 11" wide (45-50mm offset to keep the tire under the fender). I have seen 17x11 315/35's on the front of an Auto-X'd 4th Gen.... looks dumb, but I imagine it really "sticks".... but it can be done with spacers.
