Kumho Ecsta Supra 712?
Kumho Ecsta Supra 712?
Plan on buying Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 270/40/17 for my new 17X9 1/2 CenterLines. I'm new to Kumho's so are these tires decent? Just looking for something with decent wet/dry traction. This car will most likely never be out in snow.

if you dont want to drop lots of money on tires, they are good for what they are. not the best, but decent. on the 711 model, I had them on my stockers when I went to the track last fall, and was getting like 2.2-2.4 60ft's, but after all the burnouts and donuts i did with them, I still had some nice tread left

For the money - the 712's aren't a bad tire. They stick fairly well. I like my Camaro for more of an auto-x type experience though rather than for drag racing. The MX's are a bit more expensive, but they are my favorite tire yet.

Im running 274-40-18s in the rear and 245-40-17s up front --- Kumho Ecsta ASX tires -- they are bad ***. I would recommend them to ANYONE looking for an ultra high performance street tire that can handle wet OR dry conditions. I'll let you know how they do at the track after M9

I have 275/40R17 712s on my car and they are a wonderful tire for the price. I went autox with them before and they impressed me quite a bit, and I noticed a lot of the more hardcore guys were wearing 712 rubber as well.
These tires ROCK in the wet weather as well! Just no snow
