Yes they are.... but he asked about "german or russian...or whatever country they came from". I thought perhaps the "V" was for Victor. So I offered that as a possibility of what he was looking for.

so anyone have input on the Vredesteins??

need some new 315s and as much as i like the grip of my Nitto DRs...i think i want something with more tread and rain manners.

i know i know...GSD3s or whatever they are...but i'm just looking for other options ..ie..cheaper.

was gonna do the g-force KD tires...but they're gone now damn my procrastination...never mind i'll damn myself tomorrow

My buddy just got the Vredesteins on his Firebird and absolutely loves 'em.

I can ask him more if you want more info.

Are they really worth if for the price though???

I mean if you have 18s you can get BF Goodrich KDW IIs or you can go with Eagle GSD3s on 17" rim.

I haven't heard anything that the puts the Vredesteins into a must have for any cost tire

I have them and really like them. They handle well on both dry and wet pavement. They seem to stick fairly decently in warm weather for a street tire, but not in the cold.

this place has them for $170

really makes me wonder how the quality is.

EDIT

nevermind...that place wants $75 to ship 2 tires
