Help with y2k rims please
I don't remember if my y2k c5 rims are 8.5 or 9 inches wide. I measured the width from the outside sinces tires are on them and it is about 9.5 inches so does that sould like a 8.5 inch rim on 9.0. I'm hoping it is 9.0 because I'm going to need some new rear rubber and would like to replace them with some 275s to hopefully get off the line better but the recommended rim width is 9.0-11.0, Thanks.

You measure the width INSIDE the wheel flanges, where the tire beads seat. There's a very clear diagram in the FAQ at the top of the forum topic page. If they measure 9.5" on the outside of the flanges, they are NOT 9.5" wide wheels. All the factory Y2K wheels, and most aftermarket were 17x8.5" in the front, and 18x9.5" in the back.
