help cant get my prostars on

im having difficulty trying to get my front 15X3.5 inch prostars on the problem is i cant not get the new studs in the hub. i bought arp wheel studs with a .509 gnarl and they look larger then the stock ones, the old ones are easy to get out but i cannot get the new ones in, i tried the open ended lug nut on backwards method with a washer and still no go, do they need to be pressed in or is the gnarl just too big for the hub?

please help

thanks

Shouldnt have to be pressed in are you using a single washer in between the stud and the hub if so try a couple more and that stud should pop in with little effort

p.s im thinking on doing the same setup let me know how it looks you have pros in the back to ?

The 0.509 knurl on the ARP's looks larger because they are new. After you pull them into the hubs, they will be just as small as the knurl on your stock studs. Its an interferance fit.

An air operated impact wrench will pull them right in. Use an extra washer or two, as noted in the post above, and slather a bit of anti-seize on the lug and washers.
