Exclamation !!!! Help !!!!

Some guy has black powder coated 2000 stock Z28 rims he wants to trade with a little cash for my SS silver rims. I have the Quasar Blue color. I think the black would look sick with it. Worth it? Or stick with SS rims??

Re: !!!! Help !!!!

NOOOOOO keep the "SS" rims in my opinion. You can find those stock z28 ones all over the place, the "SS" ones are rare, and look nicer in my opinion!

Good luck!

Ugg.... I'm crying on the inside... With the blue, they would look sooo much better. But he wants the rubber with mine, which are toyo proxes all the way around. He'll have to throw down some major cash if he wants those...

Re: !!!! Help !!!!

haha yeah I hear you these tires are SO EXPENSIVE. I mean you can do what you woud like, but I just like the "SS" ones a little better. I believe they are pretty hard to find too, or at least where I am.

Black would looks good, but I would just wait and hopefully you will find a used set for sale instead or trading yours.
That is what I did lol!

Re: !!!! Help !!!!

Lol, yeah pretty much. I do like the SS rims, but on the blue, they just don't look that amazing. They look way better on gold/silver/white. The black would finish the car's exterior aggressive look. But you're right, they are rare. A set on eBay runs $800-$1200. I could sell mine on there, keep the rubber, and still get stock rims. The powder coating and glossy black he did is so nice, though.

Does anyone know if 285 40/17 will fit on 255 60 (maybe?)/16? I don't think they will, huh? Different rim size, and even then, different width size... The 285s I have are huge.

BTW, here's the rims I would be switching to. They are Z28, right? http://i337.photobucket.com/albums/n...8/IMG_0031.jpg

You can't put a 17" tire on a 16" wheel.

Re: !!!! Help !!!!

That's what I figured... Well, if we swap rubber he'll have to pay up quite a bit then.
