these are the ones i am looking at. I love gunmetal wheels, but i have a black car and i usually see the ricers running around with that combo. I think that with the chrome looking center cap and chrome lug nuts, it will look nice on my BLACK car. please chime in, whethere or not gunmetal zr1's with thwe polished lip will look good on my car or not. Oh, and are these replicas by OE wheels any good. they do have the 56mm front and 50mm back offset so they aren't the stupid looking ones. ?? thanks

Gunmetal does look dirty on black, ide say no. I dont like black wheels eather, even if they have a polished lip. I got my wheels from that same seller, good product.

 

the second to last picture of 97BBlackZ is awesome. all cleaned and shiny... but the first pic posted by 94v6a4 looks dirty...no offense though. i guess the secret is to keep the chrome shiny and the wheels waxed and cleaned. I think i'd help if the wheels had the polished centercap like the ones in the pics i posted from ebay. those take away from the darkness of the wheels.

 

I definatly like the Gunmetal grey on black. I hate to impose a seperate question on this thread, but what kind of tailights are on this black Z in the picture?

 

They look like regular tail lights with night shade on them.

 

Whats a "night shade"?

 

I belief its also called VHT? I dont remember exactly but its a spray on film/paint and the more layers you put the darker it gets.

Just do a search for it and you should find some info on it.
