Front rim offset question
Front rim offset question
I want to run the same size rims all the way around so I can rotate my tires and what to know if this will work on my 94 camaro
18.9.5 Rim +45 offset - 275/35/18 on all
Also I don’t like the staggered look especially with a rim that has a deep lip, I want the lip to be deep on all 4 not just on my rear wheels.

I'm assuming you've already read the wheel and tire FAQ that is stickied above, right?
I know you're new to the site so please read the stickies in the forums (they're full of great info) and please use the search function before you post. Thanks.

The most trouble free setup is an offset in the range of 45-56mm. The tires will not rub on anything, except possibly a car that has been lowered 2", when the steering is near "full lock" or if you hit a bump and compress the suspension further.
An offset of 35mm will put the outer edge of the tire barely under the outer edge of the fender.

no i did read and i have search for a tone of things including rims and tires. also why i only have three posts. i try not to bother when i know the info is there somehwere. Thats why when i went the supplier and asked if i could have 4 9.5" wide +45mm offset ruff racing 280's and they said no we can offer u 2x9.5" 45mm and 2x8.5" +35's i thought maybe i couldnt do the 9.5 +45 rims up front for some reason so i decided to get a second opinion.
so i should be fine them if i get 4 ruff racing 280's 9.5" with a +45mm offset correct? I would like the 3.5 inch lip all the way around with the 9.5 rim and not have the staggard rim look.

You can run 4 identical 18x9.5" 45mm offset wheels. There's a pic in the FAQ of my car with 4 17x9.5" 49mm offset wheels. Yours would sit just like those, front and rear, except they will stick out 4mm (0.16") more.... hardly noticeable.
Of greater concern would be the fact the the Ruff wheels are not true 120.65mm (4.75") bolt circle wheels. They are 120.0mm (4.724") bolt circle, intended for BMW's. Some people bolt them on and have no problems, others have experienced loose lugs and broken studs.

yea im have look a great deal into that problem, some have even drilled them out a tad. but i havent found a thread where a broken stud has happened i only hear from someone how know someone it happened too.
Also there are so many vette guys running the 278's, thats where i first found them
but either way thinks for the info, im so torn right now on rims. I want something differend (280 fit that bill for me) absolutly love the deep dosh but the have the bolt pattern prob. I love ttII's but dont think they will look good on my car and i see them everywhere. The TTm's black are nice but just dont do it for me, and the ttm's in that grey color are prob a hair lighter than my body color and will mostlokely look like i failed to match my rim color to the car. All i know if i have to get new rims as my chrome ss tenspokes are pitting and i dont want to deal with taking them off in the winter, would like a rim i wont have to worry about.
