Fix a flat affects?

Any negative affects of typical fix a flats to wheels? Ive got a leak right now, and will have new tires in the next week or so, so I really dont feel like having it torn down, hole patched, remounted, ect.

havent noticed any negative affects on a wheel.

its just a huge smelly mess for the guy that dismounts the tire, so do your tire tech a favor and let him know which tire will have the stuff in it....he'll appreciated it..I Know I do

Re: Fix a flat affects?

In the long run the stuff will start bouncing around inside the tire causing vibrations.

Also, the stuff eats up the coating (wheter it's painted or chrome) off the wheel, so make sure the wheel is cleaned properly before putting the new tire on.
