Fitment of 17x11 rear, 18x10 fronts on road racer
Trying to fit new 315x17 Kumho710s on rear and 295x18 fronts on my 87 Firebird racer. I see many posts about this with Gen4, but not Gen3s. Am currently running 275x17s front/rear but went up to a ZZ4/Richmond Currie setup for 2007 season. Need more rear grip and clearance for big StopTech brakes upfront. Any insight here?
I'd like specific wheel recommendations and whether spacers were required and all that. As always on a budget and would go with Corvette wheels if that is possible. Flaring out the lips is going to be accomplished anyway so outer movement can be accomodated easily.
Thanks for your help!

Sorry if this is the wrong area teke184, but I thought the wheel/tire said appearance, not tech. New to your forum. I believe that the my gen3 has 4.5 front and 4.75 rear. I'll measure the 17" forged wheel backspacing that I have on now when I return from the shop tonight. I have slight interference at full lock with the current spacing and want to avoid slicing a tire coming onto track or during any recovery.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
