Looks great!!

If you provide complete data on the wheels and tires, I'll find a way to move this into the "stickies" up top. A closeup shot from the back showing the position of the tire edge under the fender would be a good addition. Same from the front, showing the front tire position in the fender would also be good.

Very nice!

Looks perfect.. offset, width, everything looks just right judging by those pics.

Looks like a Tarrant county insp sticker... where in "Texas"?

I dont know the exact off set, but I did know the owners of the two cars personally these were on before, a LT1 Firehawk and a LS1 Z28 so I knew they would and how well they would fit. It took quite a bit of work to get the 11s to fit. When I redo the brakes here in a few weeks I'll post up pics of the clearances. I guess my cars a lower then the LS1 Z28 by default of 15 year old back springs, but on his the wheels took very little work, which makes me think I should pick up an adjustable panhard bar and center the rear

If you ever have them off the car, you could measure the backspace. Simply put a straight edge across the back of the rim (not touching rubber, only the metal) and measure straight down to the face of the mounting flange. If you tell me the backspace, I can get pretty close to the offset.

It was definitely worth the effort. There is nothing I like better than a very simple, very clean car, with very simple but aggressive wheels.

Very nice wheels! Love how clean the non T-Top cars look with the painted roof.

There's no better looking wheel on an LT1 F-body than Fikse mags. The first time I saw them was in a 2000 issue of GMHTP on a black 95 Firehawk. You're pics just further solidify my lust for these wheels. Nice work!!!

I know exactly what car youre taking about. The one with the 383 and a T-Trim. That car looked SICK!!! That's one of my favorite issues. I gotta say, those Fikse look sweet on that red T/A. I'm planning on doing a set of 18x12Fikse FM10's when I get my rear end.

The car you guys are talking about is owned by Dave Lewis, the wheels, hood, seats and Firehawk air box that are on my car came from that exact car. When it was in LT1 form built by MTI, it had a forged 383 short block, CC305, LT4 heads, Vortec T Trim with the Vortec after cooler. With AS&M shorty headers they got it to make 748RWHP, with a set of FLP Long Tubes and Nitorus it made over 900RWHP. That car in the middle of summer, weighing some thing like 3800lbs, no weight ever removed, full interior, a/c, roll bar went a best of 9.9@136. They switched the car from a T-56 to a TH2004R but could never keep a converter in it. If they set up for drag racing they could have gone mid 9s with it. It still had so much potential with the LT1 in, with a custom grind blower cam and a after market computer like whats out now, that thing would have made a lot more. But for the time it was built in the late 90s, that stuff really wasnt there. They tried a Holley computer on it and that didnt work, so it always had the LT1 PCM. How ever, it is now being transformed in to an out law 10.5 car, LSX block and a LMR Twin Turbo set up, they are shooting for mid 7s with it. That car is local to me and have watched that thing for the last 8 or 9 years. That was one of the badest LT1s in this city, when it was a six speed back in the late 90s early 00s, that car did a lot of cars dirty from a roll. MTI built some sick LT1s, thatcar, Nicks 740RWHP nitrous 396 with a hidden direct port under the intake, Gary neals 600+RWHP stroker/dope LT1, man you guys are making me miss the old days.

Wow!! I've always wondered what the owner was doing with that car now, if he even still had it. I also always wondered why he stayed with such a small cam for that 383. A custom grind would've done wonders with that T-trim. Thanks for the update!

BTW, sorry to the OP for hijacking his thread.

I am the op, so it's ok. I think ideally, a YSi because that T trim had to be maxed out, bigger set of headers, better fuel system to meet the power needs of that car, a cam ground for the set up and some thing like a XFI or BS3 so you really could tune it, that car would have made a lot more power. I bet it could have gotten close to it's nitrous numbers just on the blower. But for the time it was built, it made some good power. It was a cool car.
