Thumbs up Falken ZE-912 Tires for everyday driving...

Just got back from a test ride on some new Falken ZE-912 W rated tires. Boy, what a difference from the crap I was driving on.

Now I realize a new set of tires is like feeding a starving person a cracker, so we'll see how they hold up over time. But I think I'll be happy with them for the everyday kind of driving. And what a deal at $67 each!

Jeez, I'm ashamed to say. They were Futura Ultra Z from Pep Boys. They don't make them anymore. They didn't have a lot of miles of them but they were at least 4-5 years old. I don't drive the car that much.

I have those on my car, I think. They're made by Nankang, right?

That's what I have Nankang NS-1's, they came on the car wehn I bought it. You know, I don't hate them....they seem to do pretty good in the rain actually, as far as not hydroplaning.

To the OP, what size, and where did you find them at that price?

Stock size: 245/50/16 I got them from http://www.edgeracing.com I said they were $67 each when I bought them and $300 shipped to my door. They were out of stock at the time so it took an additional week to get them.
