eary C4 wheels and 4th gen interchange

Hi Guys,

I have a 95 Trash Can Lt1, and a back to the future 1985 C4 Z51 car.
I am toying with the idea of a getting a set of later model rims (I like the Y2K look) that I hope to possibly share between the two vehicles.

I am having a hard time understanding offset differences and am wondering if someone can explain them to me? I also have a third gen (88 trash can).

Thanks,

Igor.

The Skulte website has offset data on the various Corvette wheels:

http://www.skulte.com/adapterfaq.html

There's a post in the Wheels and Tires FAQ that deals with offset vs width vs where the tire sits in the wheel well on the 4th Gens.
