drag wheels in 16"
drag wheels in 16"
Hey guys,
Does anyone make light drag racing wheels (like weld drag lights) in 16".
I have my 26x10.5x16 ET Streets I'd like to get a set of wheels for when I go to the track. Maybe some 16" front skinnies too.
I have both a third and fouth gen, is there any way to get a set of "racing wheels" that would work with both? I ran my ET Streets on the GTA wheels on the back of both cars, worked ok.
Thanks guys,
Igor.

Re: drag wheels in 16"
so is nobody using 16" wheels for drag racing?
I basically would love a pair of wheels that would work on both of my cars, third and fourth gen, and I do have 16" ET Streets I'd love to use

Re: drag wheels in 16"
The only 16" drag wheels I have ever seen are the bead-lock wheels used for NHRA Pro Stock class cars, about $995 each. The other choice used to be the Weld Draglite XP or the Pro-Star XP, which were more of a "road" wheel than a drag wheel. Weld no longer makes those, but you can sometimes find a dealer closing out old stock. Finding the right backspace for a 4th Gen is always a problem.
Summit is now selling a line of their own drag wheels that look like the Pro-Star XP's... I've seen them in 15" sizes. Might want to check to see if they plan to sell 16's.
