Drag Radials

I run 275 40 17 nitto NT555rs extreme drag currently

I loved them. I All I see is the Nitto NT555 which I remember being different than the 555R extreme drag. I may not be able to get the same tire again but I am open to options. What is a good drag radial for all purpose driving? I want to hook up decent and have decent handling.

Re: Drag Radials

I used to run MT ET Street Radials in that size. Great handling, and traction at the track.

Re: Drag Radials

Nitto still makes the NT555R, but they have updated the design with the NT555RII. They offer the 275/40-17 in both lines.

The NT555 is a conventional high performance summer tire.
