Thumbs up Drag Radial Recommendation

Currently I acquired a 94 z28 with 10,000 orig miles.. All factory, original owner. I stole the car for $8000. Factory 3:23 gear in the rear. This car will not hook up for the life of me. If anybody could throw me some ideas for a reasonably priced drag radial that'll help me off the launch it would be most appreciated. The car is only driven in the warm summer months. I've considered a BF Goodrich G-Force TA.

I plan to work up to a 3:73 by summer. (i live in michigan so it's still winter-like for the time being)

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Does the low mileage car have the original tires? If so, they are probably harder than a rock by now, and will never hook. Consider some of the high end street tires with good dry traction, like the Goodyear GS-D3's.

I would imagine that they are the factory tires. To my knowledge, the only thing changed previous to my purchase was a new battery. Any knowledge of the G-Force TA's??

I hear they are good, but if you want the best, go with the mickey thompson street radials. People have been cutting really low 60' times with those.
