drag radial

hi:
I'm wondering if someone is using the mickey thomson drag radials, i had tried nitto drag (good and durable for that kind of tire), now i'm using BF goodrich drag radial, no spin with 150 shoot, but i had driven for 3 k and are out of wear, so they handle very good but wear so quickly, now i want to try the Mickey thomson, but i don't know how are they doing

Re: drag radial

From what I've heard the M/T is about twice as soft as the BFG.

Don't give up on the BFG yet, they're the best when they're worn out.

Re: drag radial

do you have a rule to no make jobs in worn tires?. I install the BF on a tire discount store in El Paso, and on past saturday i went to Fireston store to rotate them, because the inside of the tire are BALD and a little tread on the outside, but they sayed no, "you need a new tire". and reused to make the job. It's normal? If i go to DIscount tire, am i going to have the same answer?

Yes sir. It's a liability issue, if the vehicle leaves a shop unsafe and something bad happens, the responsibility falls in their hands. They're not trying to run you off, they're just covering themselves.
