MetallicTrans96:
Are you asking if anyone runs Nitto Drag Radials on all 4 corners? Why? Why not just run a similar Nitto radial on the front. As far as running ET Streets on all 4 corners, it would make no sense at all. Why would you want a big, gummy slick, with no tread in the front?
Mr.Whitey:
And you say you are running Nitto DR's on all 4 corners?
Appears there may be a lack of clarity in the original question

I was thinking about using the 555 up front, but then I talked to BWHunter...all I can say is that it was peer pressure. He's running the R2 on all four. I didn't want the stiffer sidewall...or the additional $180 +/- expense. Nitto said that other than the very short tread life, there will be no problems with highway/highspeed driving. I don't road race or autox, so the softer sidewall shouldn't be a problem.
When the rear tires are shot, I'll move the fronts to the rear and maybe at that point I'll use the 555 up front. Other than the short life span, are there any issues with running the 555R on all four corners? The wheels/tires haven't shipped yet, so it's not too late to change to the 555 up front...
EDIT: Just got shipping confirmation, so it's gonna be 555R on all four.

Re: Does anyone run Nittos or E.T Streets all around?
I have the SS/ZR1 rims on my 93 and I run Nitto 555 on the front and Nitto 555R <- drag radials on the rear. I had the 275 on the front but didn't like the way the car 'wandered' with the wide profile in the grooves on the highway so I switched to 255/45/17 on the front and the car drives better. The drag darials are 275/40/17.
I have about 4,000 and 15 passes on the tires. The rears are showing wear, the fronts look brand new.
