I've decided to go with some 17" z06 rims. What I would like to do is go with 17x8.5 in the front and 17x9.5 or wider in the back. I don't know too much about offsets and stuff like that, all I know is that I don't want them to stick out far from the fenders because I don't want my new paint job getting all chipped from them. So I need to find out what kind of offset I'm looking for.

Just tell me what offsets to get and where I can find the wheels. Thanks..

hmm, 17x8.5 and 17x9.5...

well the offsets that i think would look good are:

17x8.5 36-40mm
17x9.5 54-58mm

as for where to get them, i think that surfing ebay would be a good start..

found these, but they are 17x8.5 front and 18x9.5 in the back..

since you would not be rotating the tires with a 17x8.5, 17x9.5 combo, you would just end up buying more expensive tires for the back(18x9.5) if you bought the ones in the link above..

 

I have 17 x 9.5 all the way around with 275/40/17s up front and 315/35/17 in the back and I dont get chips from them Click in my sig and you can see the 315s and the offset

I'm starting to like the idea of having 17's up front and 18's in the back....anyone got any pics of this? preferably with a camaro.....
