Cragar SS wheels on a '02 Z28
Re: Cragar SS wheels on a '02 Z28
They look awesome
Some of the GMMG cars came with them and they look perfect for f-bodies. Search for them there are plenty of pictures. If I were to get new wheels I think that I would prbobaly only get the Cragar's.

Re: Cragar SS wheels on a '02 Z28
my tires are 275/35/18. They are the yokohamas. I can't remember how much they set me back....the wheels set me back like 1400 maybe and the tires like another 1000 or so.

Im pretty sure that you can only get them in 17/9 and 18/9 and nothing wider. which sucks because I want to get them but i want 11 inch wide in the back.

The Cragar SS wheels are available in many sizes including 16X8, 17X8, 17X9 and 18X9 in the aluminum chromed one piece design wheel.
My advise is to go with a Dante wheel (if you can find a set of them) with a +.30 offset in the 17X9. 17" tires are certainly a lot cheaper than 18".
I have the 18X9 Cragar SS wheels on my ZL1. Not sure what the offset is on them as they came on it new from GMMG. My car can be viewed at the link below.

I put a set of Dante design 17X9's with the +.30 offset on a friends 1999 Z/28 about a year ago after we lowered it with the GMMG/Eibach lowering springs like my ZL1 has. His Z/28 was the Legends Tour Car in 1999 and early 2000. His car may be viewed at the link below below.

Also put a set of 16X8's on another friend's 1990 RS too. His car can be viewed at the link below.

I just ordered another set for another friend of mine the other day to put on his 2000 Z/28 convertible after we lowered it.
The Dante designed wheels are getting pretty hard to find as they lost the license with Cragar. The license now is with Wheel-1 Warehouse (I think that is their name. I have their catalog in my office). I spoke with them the other day and they make their wheel for the Camaro in a +.24 offset. As the Camaros I install these wheels on have all been lowered (by my facility) I think with the +.24 we might have a clearance problem. I know with the +.30 we do not have any clearance issues with the 17X9 Cragar SS one piece chromed aluminum wheels. I got lucky this last Wednesday and found another set of the 17X9 Dante wheels with the +.30 offset still new in the box at a facility in California. Got a very good deal on them too as they were wanting to get rid of them pretty badly since Dante no longer has the Cragar license.

Re: Cragar SS wheels on a '02 Z28
I think Cragar SS wheels look realy nice on most Camaro's. I also like ZO6's but whatever you get 18's & up always look best.
