Hey everyone! I'm a new (well new to me) camaro owner and I have a 97 Camaro Z28 with 99 model Corvette rims on it. The tires on there now are P275/40ZR18's and they are goodyear F1's. I'm not looking to spend $450 per tire, so does anyone know of some good tires for this size rim? The rims are 18 rear and 17 fronts.

A 275/40-18 (26.7") is a slightly larger diameter tire than a 4th Gen F-Body was originally equipped with (25.7" if it came with 245/50-16; or 26.1" if it came with 235/55-16). Why not match the F-Body diameter, rather than using the Corvette tire size? Otherwise you will have to correct your speedometer, or it will read 2% to 4% lower than actual speed.

A 285/35-18 (25.9") would be a good size for the back tires.

Very good point , Injuneer!

But, I think he's looking for equal sidewall height front and rear; which looks a lot better than running a tire with a shorter in the rear.
