Question Center bore question

This is reference trucks, not the F-Body if it makes any difference...

When looking for wheels, does it hurt if the center bore of the wheel is larger than needed? Is lugcentric a concern?

There are two ways to center the wheel on the hub.....

Lug-centric uses the lugs to center the wheel. Either conical or shank style lugs will accomplish this.

Hub-centric provides a hub hole in the wheel that fits tightly to the axle hub, to center the wheel.

You have to use one of those methods. If you use lug-centric centering, the diameter of the hub hole can be larger than the diameter of the hub. If you use hub-centric centering, the hub hole has to match the hub diameter.

For many wheels they also sell Hub Rings for certain wheels combinations on certain vehicles that will make them virtually hub-centric

Well, I managed to find a ton of them

But yeah, it's for the Colorado. I'm probably going to go with the AR Bajas just like I had on my K5. Polished 15x8s with -19mm offset.
