Carbon/Chrome wheels
German specialist ‘Wheelsandmore’ has created these wheels for the likes of the Ford GT, Shelby Cobra, Porsche GT3RS, Lamborghini Gallardo Superlegerra and Audi A8.
They like to go on about how much weight they will save ( approximately 40% weight savings compared to a stainless steel screw) by combining carbon rims with ultra light alloy centres – but you know most people will buy them because they are shiny, shiny.
Apparently the 20-inch version of this technically advanced carbon-fibre / alloy wheel weighs a mere 6 kg or around 13.2 lbs.
Money may not buy taste, but £15,000 will buy you a set of these rims – available in 18 to 23”.
