C5 on 96 Z28

Currently I have 275/40/18 rear and 245/45/17. I want to buy new tires. Im looking to keep the same width, but it seems that the C5 sits higher then my stock 245/50/16. What is the correct profile tires? I noticed that SS rims are 17x9 and the profile is 40 yet the 18" rims have the same. I was thinking 35 profile for rear. What do you guys think?

2) 17x8.5 and (2) 18x9.5

Your stock tire diameter was either 26.1" (base 235/55-16 on V8 models) or 25.7" (z-rated 245/50-16 option). You want to match the stock diameter as close as possible. The SS/WS6 275/40-17 is a 25.7" tire.

The 275/40-18 is 26.7". Best fit would probably be a 285/35-18 (25.9"). A 275/35-18 is a bit on the smaller side at 25.6".

Your current front size (25.7") is correct.
