c4 wheels on a f body

i'm looking at buying a set of zr1 style wheels off a guy, they were on his c4 vette, will these work on my 95z, i know the offsets are different but wasn't sure if they'll work

Re: c4 wheels on a f body

The bolt pattern is the same. The holes in the back of the rear wheels may be a bit tight on the rear hubs of your 95 and need to be sanded lightly to enlarge the holes.

"Real" ZR1 wheels have too little offset for the 4th Gen F-Body, but will work if you can tolerate a bit of rubbing of the tires on the front fenders, and the tires sticking slightly outside the fenders in the back. The correct wheels are the "Grand Sport" version, with larger offsets.

See the FAQ at the top of the page. There are posts covering the problems with the rear wheel hubs and on the mods required to fit the 17x11's in the back.

i looked at the wheels again today, thy're not gm wheels they have afs stamped on the back, also all 4 are 17x9.5 and have 56 stamped next to the size, which i assume is the offset, hoping these will fit cause its such a good deal, even if i have to use a small spacer

Its all covered in the FAQ, including the correct offset for the 17x9.5" AFS wheels.
