I am looking for a set of 18" Smoothie II's for my 98 TA. Where can I find that at the best deal?
Also, does anyone have pics of these wheels on a black TA?

Re: Boyd Coddington Smoothie II's
Todd at Discount Tire Direct has the hook up. Give him a call or check out the website. Discounttiredirect.com. I think I paid 18 X 8 and 18X9 with Yok. AVS's for 1800 i want to say mounted and balanced
Cool I will give him a call and check on it, but I want 18 x 9's all around, but is there anyplace else to check?

Got mine from TByrne Motorsports (I think they are a sponsoring site). I went for the 17x9 up front, 17x10 in the rear (with nittos of course
) Not fond of 18's myself.
Here's a pic on my 95 black Z (sorry it ain't a TA but it should give ya some idea of the look!).

18's ain't all that bad. looks a hell of a lot better than the salad shooters. but wassup with the black powdercoating??? You've ruined a set of smoothies
JK. To each their own. I never liked black or dark color rims either, especially on black cars. always reminds me of a car where the hub caps have fallen off!!! Jeez ford, we just won't be able to get along now will we

Well, I would normally go with 17's but I have the TTII's on the TA right now in 17's and they look kinda small on it, so I figure I better go 18's with the next set.
Thanks for the pics guys. I know there is a black TA somewhere with these, anyone?

JK, actually i was very afraid to ruin the wheels, i loved them all polished. Yet my centercaps had done some funny oxidizing that i couldnt get rid of, and i wanted to set the car apart.
The pictures really dont do it justice but in person the car looks mean as hell. And it gets compliments like never before. Besides atleast now people pay attention to the centercaps or something because noone asks me if they are TTII's anymore

I really couldnt be happier with it. And honestly i wouldnt do black wheels on any color car besides red with a black top, yellow, or black.
And you are right about them looking like hubcaps have fallen off, which they do on cars with a 1/4" lip on them. But in person you can see the huge lip our wheels have and it adds soo much more to them.
