Bfg gforce kd for competition
This question is for anyone who has used the bfg gforce kd tires for autocrossing or road racing.
-Have you gotten a chance to race on these tires and compare them to another kind of tire? (nitto 555r drag radials, falken azenis)
I've heard that the bfg kd street tires stick better than the nitto drag radials. If this is true, then I would definitely buy them and use them in the street tire class that I race in for autocrossing. Can someone prove me wrong from their own personal experience?
I also do a road racing type of event where there are no classes, but there are tire requirements that you have to have a treadwear rating of 100 or more. Tons of people in this event use Nitto drag radials due to having exactly 100 treadwear and they often win. If the bfg's have better traction at 200 treadwear then I wouldnt have to buy two sets of wheels and change them for the race which would be a big pain in the ***. (Nitto drags would also bump me up a class in autocrossing)
