What you're saying then is that the tire guys you talk to are smarter than the BFG tire designers. OK... if that's what you want to believe.
Hell if I know.

I ran a set of 245/50/16s into the ground, never had a bit of trouble out of them.

I just got me a set of 245/50/16 & couldnt be happier. So far they are great. Really quiet compared to the OE Goodyears. Speaking of air pressure...what is good place to start? I currently have 32lbs all the way around.

Running 45psi in them. they have got 1k miles on them now and they are better but still not good. They stick great but still have a lot of sidewall flex.

Can i go with more air pressure? Thats the max on the side wall. i was running 32 with the old tires.

I smell an exaggeration... 2 inches is quite a lot of flex even when in a heavy corner let alone just pushing on the car with your hand. 2 inches would be enough to break a bead and collapse the tire. Side wall flex is normal with any radial tire. You should see my trail buddy's Jeep CJ with 44" swampers! When he airs down they will flex a full foot or more Thank God for bead locks! If you don't want any sidewall flex get low profile or bias ply tires but I know you won't like the bumpy ride or the grip issues.

Do not run over the recomended PSI in that tire. To me 45psi seems high between 35 and 40psi should be run in most tires.

Try 35 PSI... 45 may make the tire bow up in the center.

Why would you even think of putting 45psi in them? And you want to INCREASE the pressure. If you got it of the sidewall of the tire, that's the maximum pressure required to get the full load rating of the tire. You car loads it nowhere near the full load rating.

Its no wonder they are giving you problems. Follow the sticker on the door. Drop the pressure to 32-35psi, like the sticker on the door tells you to do.

This stuff scares me.

I have the BFG g-Force KDWS's on my TA. Best tires I've ever put on my car HANDS down!

Edit: Run mine at 30psi.

Re: BFG G-force sports Handle horrible!HELP

When the tires were put on they had 32psi in them that is the first thing I checked. and I pumped them up to 45 to see if it made a difference, that helped the stability of the tire so I have not lowered the pressure.
That is a good point that is a lot of pressure. Im going to drop the pressure and see if it makes a difference now that they have some miles on them.

Im not an idiot. Im on here asking for help on a tire issue and I really appreciate the help. I mean if your amazed by my stupidity then by all means come drive my car im not exaggeration.

Thanks for everyone help.

If they are that bad, take them back to the shop where you bought them, let THEM drive the car and push it side-to-side, and if they can see 2" of flex in the sidewall, they should have no problem providing you with a different brand of tires. Just be sure to put the tire pressure back where it belongs.
