best way to ship tires

I have a couple of M/T drag radials that I am looking to get rid of, and would like to list on here to try and find a buyer...but I am really at a lost as to how I should ship them when I do get a buyer. I called DHL and they basically told me I have to package them myself, but how do I go about packaging such a large item? Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I just figured you guys might have some experience with this.

Re: best way to ship tires

My friend has ordered two sets of tires from tirerack and when he gets them, they're just strapped together. They aren't boxed, wrapped or anything like that. I think they shipped through FedEx.

Yeah..ususally strapped or taped together with the label stuck on them. You'll most likely get hit with a no box fee from whoever you ship them through.

Either strapped together or in big bags separate...Tirerack just straps them together...
