Best Value?

What is the best wheel/tire combo value out there. I am looking for a drag radial that will not spin up to 35mph that will allow me to run better times on the weekend..but something during the week that rides good. I only drag my car everyonce and awhile with the tires on there now it spins forever. I am mainly doing it for the looks I love wide tires on the back.

But I am looking for the best value..andy suggestions...My car is below check it out.

Re: Best Value?

Getting a "drag radial" doesn't necessarily get you a "wide tire". The Nitto 315/35-17 drag radials are generally much narrower than many "street" 315/35-17. If you're just doing it for "looks" and 'rides good", get a sticky street tire like the Goodyear F1 GS-D3. Other than the Nittos, the drag radials can be dangerous in the wet.

If you want to go wider than a 255, you'll have to drop down to a 15" wheel, or move up to a 17" wheel. There are no wider drag radials, and even very few wider street radials available in 16" sizes.
