Best cleaner and cleaning method?

Whats the best way to clean the stock salad shooters on my Z28? Wheel brush? Or is that to harsh? Thanks for any advice. I'm use to having chrome wheels.

Do you just spray on the simple green whipe down wheel and rinse. Thanks in advance.

It depends on how dirty they are, but chances are, you won't have to scrub. Just get the rims wet, spray some Simple Green on, let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse it off. Simple Green eats through tough oil and greese in the engine bay, why not wheels?
