Anyone running 20's + V6 springs?

Hey guys, I just got my set of 20's in! Hopefully, I'll be able to get the Nitto 555 (245/35/Zr20) tires put on either today or monday. I was just wondering if anyone here has a V8 car and has used v6 springs in the front and rear yet while running a set of 20's?

V6 springs in the front is a cheaper way to launch the car better. Search for a few threads if you want to read about it. Plus, I don't really want my car looking like a 4x4 when the 20's go on and I'll be to poor the get my gfx now...

If your worried about launching the car why did you get 20's? With the tiny sidewall traction is going to be hard to get. I think you would be better off going with the elbach pro kit.

Well sry, no pics yet. The car is still at the bodyshop. I will be running a set of Nitto 555r on the stock salad shooters when I want to race. I want the v6 springs for that purpose and as an added bonus, the car sitting lower won't make it look like a 4x4 with the 20's on. I did plan on buying the drag launch spring kit but right now, a free set of v6 springs is about the only thing I can afford at the moment.

Probably handling-wise but from the looks of it he's building a drag car so it won't matter...

I had v6 springs on the bird since I bought it, previous owner did it. Worst thing I've ever had to deal with. Every speed bump be prepared to bottom out.

..says the guy with SS badges on his Z/28...

Look, I'm not trying to get in a pissing contest here. I just wanted to find out how much v6 springs lower the front-end to determine if it would even be possible to use a set for now. You like what you've done to your car and I like what I've done with mine. Leave it at that.

Impossible to say. Get V8 springs. Lowering springs if you want. V6 springs are junk in the front of a v8 f body
