Anybody using 17" steel wheels for snow tires?

Im looking to do the C5 brake conversion, but I still use the car in the winter so the salad shooters have to be able to go back on.

Is anybody running narrow 17's for the winter? I was thinking snow tires but im not sure thats nessesary.

I am running 17's on my Formula in my sig as winter tires. I am currently residing in NJ as well, and if it never snows this year, you won't have to worry about it (lol).

17's will do okay in the winter. Any kind of deep snow though, even with narrow tires, and weight in the back, an F-body is not a good car to drive.
