I'm trying to decide on a set of Wheels for my 64 Impy, and short of physically trying to put the wheels on (which obviously isn't always an option) is there a listing of what I can put on the car?

Or can someone tell me what'll fit without tubbing or anything? I'd like to put 94-96 Impy SS rims on it, but I believe those are a 5" bolt pattern, and (I'm not even sure, lol cause it's in Iowa right now) my Impy has a 4 3/4"

I really don't want to do the played the hell out TTIIs...but I want some meat to go along with the power and suspension.

 

I just did a search over at hotrodders but i think i came up with a post from you over there. if the bolt pattern is 5 x5 they wont work.

 

i just found another site that said the impala had 5 x 4 3/4 until 71-76 when they were 5 x 5. so i dont know. trying calling a dealer to find out what the pattern was.

 

Yeah, I asked the same quqestion over there a couple weeks ago, no one seems to have the answer for sure
