Allright so this is going to sound like a dumb question, but I just want to make sure before I spend 100 bucks. The center caps with-out the fake black lug nuts, will be able to just go under the REAL lugnuts rather than them just poping off? right? Cause some places have center caps with the simulated black lug nuts, and other dont. Know of anywhere cheaper than 25 bucks a pop? thanks you guys, like i said its a dumb question but just wanted to confirm before i bought them.

 

nope, gotta use the plastic lug covers

 

If you put the plastic piece between the lug nuts and the wheel, and tighten the lugs to the specified 100 lb-ft, your going to crush the plastic. Also not a good idea to put anything between the lug and the wheel that would interfere with the conical fit.
